It is a beautiful mix of the art of architecture and the art of ornament and decoration. The blueprint of the mosque looks like a (T), as it begins with a lobby or a corridor at the entrance that leads to a medium hall surrounded by an Iwan on the eastern side, and another one on the western side, and another bigger one with a niche on the southern side. There are stairs that lead to the second level which was a resident for the Sultans and their families. The mosque has two minarets added after it was built. It was built on the European Baroque style that dominated this era.
